World record for highest partnership for 4th wicket in Tests broken by Root and Brook

The world record for highest partnership for fourth wicket in Test cricket has been broken by England's Joe Root and Harry Brook. The duo shared a 454-run stand for fourth wicket in first innings in first Test against Pakistan. The previous record was held by Australia's Adam Voges and Shaun Marsh, who shared 449-run stand against West Indies in 2015.
