World's 1st commercial brain chip implant performed in China

Chinese doctors have carried out the world's first commercial implant of a brain-computer interface in a patient who'd lost hand function after a spinal cord injury, as per local media. The Neural Electronic Opportunity (NEO) system, developed by Neuracle Medical Technology, is a coin-sized implant. This has pushed NEO ahead of Elon Musk's Neuralink, which is awaiting US FDA approval.
