For the first time in history, the four highest-ranked teams have all reached the semi-finals in a FIFA World Cup edition. Pre-tournament world number one Argentina, second-ranked Spain, third-ranked France and fourth-ranked England comprise the final four. France will face Spain in Dallas, while defending champions Argentina will take on England in Atlanta.
