World's biggest accounting body bans online exams over AI cheating

The UK's Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) will stop allowing students to give online exams unless there are exceptional circumstances, starting in March. The world's largest accounting body said the "sophistication" of cheating systems is outpacing the safeguard measures due to the rise in AI tools. Online exams were introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
