El Cosmico, an existing hotel and campground in Texas, US, is building 43 new hotel units and 18 residential homes over 40 acres with a 3D printer. It is the world's first 3D-printed hotel, El Cosmico owner Liz Lambert said. The walls are being piped out by 3D printing company ICON's 46.5-feet-wide and 15.5-feet-tall 'Vulcan' 3D printer weighing 4,750 kg.
