World's highest-altitude flower fields inaugurated in Leh

Ladakh LG VK Saxena inaugurated twin flower fields at Choglamsar and Stakna in Leh on PM Modi's 76th birthday. Spread across 40 acres at 10,600 feet, the fields house over 25 lakh flowers — 24 lakh Lilium and 1 lakh Gladiolus. The initiative aims to promote floriculture, boost tourism, and create farmer livelihoods in Ladakh.
