World's largest Shivling reaches Bihar; to be ritually consecrated on Jan 17

The world's largest Shivling, measuring 33 feet long and weighing close to 210 tonnes, arrived in Bihar's Gopalganj on Saturday. Transported from Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu, Shivling took over 45 days to reach Bihar and will be ritually consecrated at the Virat Ramayan Temple near Kesariya on January 17. It has been reportedly carved from a single black granite block.
