World's smallest wild cat that can fit in one's palm spotted in MP

In a rare sighting, the world's smallest wild cat, the elusive rusty-spotted cat, has been photographed at Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Small enough to fit in a human palm, the feline was captured on a camera trap, marking the species' first visual record in the reserve. The image was recorded during a large-scale survey conducted in 2024.
