World-renowned US rock climber falls 1,000 feet to death in Mexico

World-renowned US rock climber Brad Gobright has died attempting to descend the side of a cliff face. The 31-year-old fell around 300 metres (1,000 feet) to his death in El Potrero Chico in northern Mexico. His companion, fellow climber Aidan Jacobson fell a shorter distance and suffered lesions on his right ankle and various parts of his body.
