World's 500 richest people lose $331 billion in biggest one-day drop in 8 years

The world's 500 wealthiest people lost a combined $331 billion on Thursday, the biggest one-day drop in the eight-year history of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Bernard Arnault, the Chairman of French luxury goods giant LVMH, lost $9.5 billion and Amazon's Jeff Bezos' fortune fell by $8.1 billion. The year-to-date losses of the 500 people have been pushed to $950 billion.
