The Abraj Kudai hotel in Mecca is set to become the world's largest hotel by room count once it finishes construction, as it will have 10,000 rooms. The Saudi Arabian Finance Ministry is funding the 1.4 million square metre complex, which will cost about $3.5 billion. The hotel, which reportedly plans to open next year, will have over 70 restaurants.
