World's first bony tail surgically removed from a baby's thoracic region in Odisha

Doctors have removed the world’s first recorded bony tail from the thoracic region of a baby born in Odisha. As per the doctor who performed the surgery, while the human tail is a rare condition, a bony human tail is exceedingly rare and 26 cases have been reported so far and they were all at the spine's lower end.
