World’s first electric hydrofoiling passenger ferry in production

Candela has completed successful test flights for the P-12, an electric hydrofoiling passenger vessel. It offers foilborne speeds of over 18 knots while consuming 80% less energy than traditional high-speed vessels. The P-12 has a range of up to 50 nautical miles from its 252 kWh battery, depending on version and load. The ferry is now moving into serial production.
