World's first sweating & breathing manikin made, claim scientists
Scientists have claimed they have made the world's first indoor-outdoor breathing, sweating and walking thermal manikin. Custom-built for Arizona State University (ASU) by Thermetrics, it can mimic the thermal functions of the human body. Called 'ANDI', it has 35 different surface areas, all individually controlled with temperature sensors, heat flux sensors and pores that bead sweat.
