The world's highest hairstyle measures 2.66 metre (8.73 feet) and was achieved in June 2009, according to the Guinness World Records. It was established by several hairdressers in an event organised by KLIPP unser Frisör in Wels, Austria. The attempt was made using real and fake hair.
