World's highest railway bridge in J&K to be ready by 2021: Govt
The world's highest railway bridge over river Chenab in J&K will be ready by 2021, Railways Minister Piyush Goyal said. It'll connect the valley with rest of India by train for the first time by 2022, officials said. The bridge, with a central span of 467 metres, is being built at a height of 359 metres above the river bed.
