World's longest commercial flight lands in New Zealand

The world's longest non-stop commercial flight landed in Auckland, New Zealand, on Monday after a 14,535-kilometre journey lasting 16 hours, 23 minutes. The Qatar Airways flight departed from Doha and crossed ten time zones. Although an Air India flight claims to be world's longest by flying-distance, Qatar Airways' flight is the longest by land distance (distance between Auckland and Doha).
