World's most expensive license plate was sold for ₹95 crore

The world's most expensive car license plate was bought by Saeed Abdul Ghaffar Khouri from UAE for about ₹95 crore ($14.2 million), according to the Guinness World Records. The plate with the number '1', was sold during a special number-plate auction in February 2008. The auction was organised by Emirates Auction Company in Abu Dhabi.
