World's most powerful space telescope reaches destination 1.5 mn km from Earth

The world's biggest, most powerful James Webb Space Telescope has arrived at its observation post located 1 million miles (1.5 million km) away from Earth, NASA said on Monday. It lifted off a month ago. The telescope was put in orbit around the Sun at the point L2 where the gravitational forces of the Sun and Earth balance each other.
