World's most powerful telescope captures 'water signature' on distant planet

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has captured the distinct signature of water in the atmosphere of a distant planet orbiting a Sun-like star 1,150 light-years away. It has been captured on the giant gas planet WASP 96-b located in the Milky Way. NASA made the revelation while releasing a batch of photos taken by the world's most powerful telescope.
