‘World’s oldest beer’ brewed from yeast found in shipwreck

Scientists have created what is being considered the world's oldest beer, from yeast recovered from a 220-year-old ship that sunk on its journey from India to Australia. The yeast was grown from contents of a beer bottle found in the wreck. Researchers found a historical account of a beer from the time, whose flavour seemed similar to the newly-brewed beer.
