World's oldest living person Maria turns 117, pic released

Maria Branyas Morera, the world's oldest living person according to Guinness World Records, turned 117 years old. Born on March 4, 1907, in San Francisco, US, she returned to Spain with her family when she was eight to settle in Catalonia. She has lived in the region ever since and has resided in the same nursing home for 23 years.
