The world’s wealthiest people have gained as much as $237 billion (over ₹16 lakh crore) in the year 2016. The gains were led by Warren Buffett, who added $11.8 billion (over ₹80,000 crore) during the year as his firm Berkshire Hathaway's holdings soared after Donald Trump’s victory. Further, e-commerce major Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos led gains among technology executives.
