'World's saddest elephant' Mali, who lived alone for 40 years, dies in Manila Zoo

An elephant named Mali who lived alone in a zoo in Manila, Philippines for more than 40 years has died. The elephant was dubbed the "World's saddest elephant" by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). "Mali was our prized possession and was the star attraction here at the Manila Zoo," Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna said.
