World's single largest offshore wind farm approved

Orsted final investment decision (FID) on Hornsea 3, the world's single-largest offshore wind farm. With a capacity of 2.9 GW, it will generate enough renewable energy to power over 3.3 million UK homes. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, aiding the UK government's goal of having 50 GW offshore wind in operation by 2030.
