Mumbai reduced Meghalaya to the worst start in first-class cricket in 152 years on Day 1 of their Ranji Trophy match on Thursday. Meghalaya lost six wickets for two runs in their first innings in 3.1 overs. Shardul Thakur picked a hat-trick and took four wickets out of the six. Meghalaya were dismissed for 86 runs.
