Would've cast Vaibhav in 'Masoom' if he wasn't a cricketer: Shekhar

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur took to X to praise 15-year-old cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's talent, calling him a 'sensational cricketer'. Kapur wrote, "If Sooryavanshi wasn't such a sensational cricketer. I could have cast him in Masoom, the film." Kapur recently announced that he would be rebooting 'Masoom', his directorial debut starring Naseeruddin Shah, with 'Masoom: The New Generation'.
