Phoebe Litchfield became the first cricketer to be successfully auctioned in the Women's Premier League (WPL) auction for the 2024 season on Saturday. Litchfield, a 20-year-old Australian opener, was picked up by Gujarat Giants for Rs 1 crore. UP Warriorz joined the bid but gave up at Rs 90 lakh.
