WPL releases retention list ahead of auctions for 2027 edition

The Women's Premier League (WPL) has released the retention lists of all five teams ahead of the auctions for 2027 edition. Defending champions RCB released Grace Harris, D Hemalatha and Gautami Nayak, while four-time runners-up DC released Alana King, Lizelle Lee, Sneh Rana and Eddla Srujana. UPW, who finished at the bottom in the 2026 season, released nine players.
