Wreck of German submarine which sank over 100 yrs ago still leaking TNT

German submarine UC-30, which sank in 1917, is still polluting the North Sea, with Aarhus University researchers detecting traces of trinitrotoluene (TNT) in the water, seabed and marine life around the wreck. The WWI vessel, carrying 18 mines and six torpedoes, struck a British mine, killing all 27 crew members. Danish diver Gert Normann Andersen discovered the wreck in 2016.
