Wrestler Bajrang Punia withdraws from National Games due to head injury

Olympic bronze medallist Bajrang Punia has withdrawn from upcoming 36th National Games due to a head injury sustained during the recently concluded World Wrestling Championships in Serbia. "It's unfortunate that it happened so close to the event. The cut is fresh...will take time to heal," said Bajrang. The 28-year-old won a bronze medal in men's 65-kg category at World Championships.
