After wrestler Vinesh Phogat's disqualification from the 2024 Paris Olympics, social media users shared posts claiming that she was overweight by 2.1 kilograms for her weight category of 50kg, and not just 100 grams. This is false. All official communication by the Indian Olympic Association says that Vinesh Phogat weighed in at "just a few grams over" 50 kgs.
