Wrestling body UWW backs WFI over Vinesh Phogat ban: Report

UWW, international governing body for wrestling, has backed WFI after it barred Vinesh Phogat from competing in her comeback tournament and domestic events till June 26, TOI reported. UWW President Nenad Lalovic reportedly informed the WFI that it was within its rights to seek an explanation from Vinesh and take appropriate action after reviewing her response to the show-cause notice.
