Writ petition filed in SC against PM Modi's address to nation

Former Congress MP TN Prathapan filed a writ petition in Supreme Court against PM Narendra Modi's address to nation after the amendment to fast track Women's Reservation Bill failed to clear Lok Sabha. The petition urged Election Commission to issue show-cause notice to PM Modi. It added that he misused "state machinery" while Model Code of Conduct was in force.
