Wrong, baseless: Vedanta on TN's Sterlite Copper Plant sale report

Vedanta Limited on Thursday refuted reports of the company selling its Sterlite Copper Plant in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi for ₹4,500 crore and called such reports "wrong, baseless and incorrect". Vedanta said Sterlite Copper is a national asset and had contributed to 40% of India's copper. The company invited EoI on June 12 to "restart activities" following the Supreme Court's direction.
