X account of Abby Philips aka 'The Liver Doc' suspended after Himalaya's lawsuit

The X (formerly Twitter) account of Doctor Cyriac Abby Philips, who operates the popular handle 'The Liver Doc', was suspended on a Bengaluru court's order. The court acted upon a lawsuit filed by Himalaya Wellness alleging him of making defamatory allegations against the company's products. Earlier, he was threatened with defamation by the Ayush Ministry over his remarks on giloy.
