X sues users for faking engagement to earn revenue

X has filed a lawsuit in England's High Court against users who allegedly manipulated engagement on its platform to fraudulently earn from its Creator Revenue Sharing Programme. The accused, including Vivek Kumar Sen and Zamyang Sherpa, ran a network of fake accounts, inflating engagement artificially. They reportedly received over £206,000 through coordinated fraud.
