X terminates European Commission's ad account after €120 mn fine

X (formerly Twitter) product head Nikita Bier announced that the European Commission's advertising account on X has been terminated. This comes after Elon Musk's social media platform was fined €120 million by the European Commission for breaching rules under the Digital Services Act. Earlier, Musk called for the "abolition" of the European Union after the regional bloc fined X.
