xAI co-founder's startup River AI raises $1.1 billion for AI tools

River AI, founded by xAI co-founder Igor Babuschkin, has raised $1.1 billion to expand tools that help clients build personalised AI models using their own data. The funding round included Nvidia as a strategic investor, along with Y Combinator and other investors. River said its API enables enterprises to run complex reinforcement-learning training in 20 minutes without an infrastructure team.
