xAI sends techies to rival firms' clients to win business: Report

Elon Musk's xAI is sending engineers to the offices of potential corporate clients in an attempt to steal business away from rivals OpenAI and Anthropic, Bloomberg reported. Notably, using this approach, xAI struck a deal with company Shift4 Payments, which was earlier OpenAI's client. xAI's clients were mostly other Musk ventures like Tesla and SpaceX, as well as government agencies.
