Xbox delays launch of Fable, says it needs its 'dedicated moment'

Xbox has delayed Playground Games' reboot of Fable to February 2027 from its previously announced Autumn 2026 release window. Xbox said the game is being moved to give it the "dedicated moment it deserves" and to better manage its holiday release schedule. Several major titles, including Grand Theft Auto VI, are also set to launch in late 2026, it noted.
