Xbox's Halo cinematic head laid off within 1 week of promotion, calls it 'wild'

Halo Studios Cinematic Director Josh Daniels said he was laid off within the same week of receiving a promotion, describing the occurrence as "pretty wild". Daniels was among 268 employees affected by latest round of layoffs at Microsoft's Xbox division. "I'll be taking some offline time...but...would love to talk to anyone looking for Cinematic Direction...roles," Daniels said.
