Xi & Trump didn't have a call recently: China on Trump's claim

China refuted US President Donald Trump's claim that President Xi Jinping had called him to discuss tariffs. "As far as I know, the two heads of state haven't called each other recently," Guo Jiakun, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, said. "I'd like to reiterate that China and the US haven't conducted consultations or negotiations on the tariffs issue," he added.
