Xiaomi admits to showing ads in settings menu of its phones

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has admitted to showing ads to its customers in the apps of its phones including the music app and settings menu. "Advertising has been and will continue to be an integral part of Xiaomi's Internet services," the smartphone maker said. They further clarified the ads apply only to devices running MIUI Android software.
