Xiaomi Founder gets ₹6,650 cr bonus, to donate it all to charity

Xiaomi Founder and Chairman Lei Jun has been given bonus worth $961 million (₹6,650 crore) for "his contributions to the company" in 2018, when the Chinese smartphone maker went public. Jun pledged to donate the bonus, received in shares, entirely to charity. Even after accounting for the 30% fall in Xiaomi's shares since July 2018, he's still worth $11 billion.
