After the huge success of Redmi 1S, Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi Thursday launched Redmi 2 in the Indian smartphone market priced at Rs 6,999. Redmi 2 has 4.7-inch display, quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera and 8GB internal memory. The device will be put for sale on Flipkart on March 24 for which registrations will begin on March 12.
