Chinese giant Xiaomi has reportedly hiked the price of its upcoming phablet Redmi Note, from Rs 8,999 to Rs 9,999. The phone, expected to be made available from Dec-2, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the custom MIUI 5 interface and has a 1.7GHz octa core Mediatek processor, and a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD screen.
