Y Combinator Partner Jared Friedman was asked why the incubator forces Indian startups to shift to US, which leads to them paying billions of dollars when they wish to flip back. "It's very unfortunate. We wish that we could just fund Indian companies...But the Indian government makes it very challenging," Friedman said. "I wish I had a solution," he added.
