Yamaha Motor, others invests $40M in Bengaluru's EV startup River

River, a Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) startup, has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd, with participation from existing investors, including Al-Futtaim Automotive, Lowercarbon Capital, Toyota Ventures, and Maniv Mobility. The startup will focus on distribution and service network throughout India, aiming to establish a stronger market presence.
