Heavy rainshowers lashed parts of Mumbai on Tuesday, accompanied by thunder and lightning. Following this, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) for the next four days with light to moderate rainfall. Pune also experienced heavy rain on Tuesday along with strong winds that caused a hoarding to collapse trapping several two-wheelers.
